Being an Islamic country, Sudan has various Muslim festivals and
Holidays, determined by the lunar Calender. These are:
Ramadan Barium (idd El fitr) on the first day of shawal (4days
vacation).
Greatest Barium (idd El Adha) on the loth of zu El hija (4days
vacation).
Elisra wa Elmiraj on 27th Rajab (1day).
Other holidays are:
Independence day on 25th of December (1day).
Easter day on 25th April (1day).
National salvation Revolution’s day on 30th June (1day).
Coptic Church’s Christians' day on 7th January (1day).
