Khartoum, the average annual
temperature
is about 27°C (80°F); and annual rainfall, which occurs between
mid-June and September, is about 15cm. Seasonal fluctuations can be
very extreme.
Temperatures range from 15°C (59°F) to 35°C (95°F) in
the winter months (November to March), and from 25°C (77°F) to 50°C
(122°F) in the summer months (April to October). Humidity is
generally low ranging from 10% to 50% throughout the year. Dust
storms, called haboub, are frequent.
